Houses are a structural arrangement that creates a smaller learning community within the larger school. If there are 400 freshmen they are divided into four houses of 100 students each. Each house has the same set of content area teachers. These teachers share a common period in which they meet to collaborate on lessons, share common practices and case conference individual students.
