Automotive High School is committed to opening all paths to our students. We have established a full-time College and Career Center, staffed by a full-time counselor and parent volunteers, that serves all students from Grade 9 on.
We know that the path to the most choices depends on good grades and choices from the beginning; we hold two highly-successful college and career fair days each year, with dozens of colleges and many employers participating and recruiting. Students prepare resumes, question sheets and other material to make their time at these events fruitful.
Our students apply to and go to a wide variety of colleges, advanced vocational schools and internships. In addition, students are eligible to take college courses while still in high school through our partnership with New York City Technical College.
