We are very excited to announce a partnership with the Community Healthcare Network (CHN) and Automotive High School. This is an amazing opportunity for our Automotive community and I hope that we all take advantage of this. The services are completely free and completely confidential. They will be here every Thursday for the remainder of the school year from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Community Healthcare Network is a not-for-profit organization that provides access to affordable, culturally-competent and comprehensive community-based primary care, mental health and social services for diverse populations in underserved communities throughout New York City. Their services are completely confidential and as a Federally Qualified Health Center, CHN does not turn anyone away. CHN serves more than 60,000 individuals a year who would otherwise have little or no access to critical health care.

The Crossroads program is a new student support services program for the students of automotive high school. The Crossroads program, in collaboration with Good Shepherd Services and the Department of Education, is designated to help students improve attendance while engaging families in their child's education.
Good Shepherd services will supplement your child's academic program with the following services: Attendance Outreach, Staff will monitor your child's attendance and communicate with parents regarding any issues that relate to their attendance; Individual and/or Group Counseling, Your child will meet with our staff to discuss issues that may be impeding them from attending school regularly. These sessions will be confidential; Family Involvement, Staff will support your involvement in your child's education.
