Automotive High School
H1N1 Flu

Here is the latest information from the Department of Health. As all schools are, we are carefully monitoring the situation, and will contact all families by phone and other means whenever there is new information. In the meantime, school is open, and all students should attend unless they are feeling sick. Students who are feeling sick should stay home, and call the school at 718-218-9301, ext. 1022.

Students who are at home should continue doing schoolwork, using the assignments that are available on this website, along with www.regentsprep.org.

AUTOMOTIVE SPRING BREAK ASSIGNMENTS— YOUR GREAT OPPORTUNITY

Continuing an Automotive HS tradition, each teacher has provided assignments over the Spring Break (April 09 - April 17). These assignments were also given out in school, as well as posted here.

Students are expected to turn in the assignments right after the break. They can either be used as make-up for some work missed by the student or for extra credit.

SPECIAL SCHEDULE EVERY TUESDAY AT AUTO

This year, starting Sept. 9th, Automotive is on a special Tuesday schedule, to allow training and development for teacher and staff. This time will allow us to become better at what we do—serving the students and parents of Auto.

On these training days, students have all their regular periods, but start later in the morning. Period 1 is at 10:40, and Period 0 is at 10:03. The school day still ends at 3:30 pm.

For more information, please call Parent Coordinator William Valencia at 718-218-9301, ext. 1514, or e-mail him at wvalencia@schools.nyc.gov.
